Hillsborough Disaster News Coverage 1989. This news coverage talks about the disaster of Hillsborough during the game between Liverpool and Nottingham forest where 96 Liverpool fans were crushed and killed. This news report came from Match of the day which isn't usually a news reporting program but reports on football matches and shows the highlights from the games. This makes the news seem more important as its not on a usual news channel. The whole video is videos of what happened at the game with someone explaining what was happening at that time as it was reported on the night of the incident and not while the incident took place. It also contains videos of Liverpool fans being interviewed shortly after the game which was emotional as they explain angrily how it could've easily been avoided and they explain that they was lucky they managed to get out without being injured.
